Program Objective

The program aims to apply and develop new technologies in the field of Agricultural Sciences to contribute to the training of professionals who can work in public and private institutions, in teaching, research, extension activities, and in agricultural production processes. Additionally, the program also aims to integrate graduate studies within the university system, institutionalizing research activities and increasing the capacity of higher education faculty, coupling teaching with research and extension in order to establish a close relationship between these two areas that are essential for the survival of higher education institutions.


Target Audience

Professionals seeking to work in diverse sectors related to science, technology, and innovation within public and private institutions, universities, research units, and consultancies utilize scientific knowledge and foster research development in crop production.

 

Focus Area: Crop Production

 

Research Lines:
1. Plant health management in production systems;
2. Technologies for crop production in the Cerrado and Pantanal;
3. Soil and water management and conservation in the Cerrado and Pantanal.

Regularly Offered Courses

- A total of 27 elective courses are offered;
- 3 mandatory courses: Plant Physiology; Agricultural Experimentation; Seminars.
