Program Objective
The history of the Professional Master's Degree Program in Health Education (PPGES) is linked to the formation of the Study and Research Group in Education and Health (GEPES), created in 2009, with the aim of strengthening interdisciplinary work in the field of Education and Health, disseminating ongoing research and guiding future projects.

Thus, one of the purposes of PPGES is to develop studies and research in order to contribute to initial, continuing and technical education in health from the perspective of the guidelines of the Unified Health System, as well as to promote educational actions implemented in the most varied health care settings, such as basic health units, hospitals, among others.

Target Audience
The program is designed for professionals with a higher education degree who are interested in producing knowledge about health education.
