International Agreements
- In 2015, the Program received, through the Graduate Student Agreement Program (PEC-PG), a student from the Republic of Benin, YAOVI ABEL KISSI, to pursue a PhD, with a research project entitled: “ETE waste as a substrate composition for the production of native seedlings from the Pantanal and Cerrado: Plant responses to stress”.
- In 2016, through the Alliances for Education and Training Program of the Organization of American States, a student from Guatemala, JULIO CÉSAR JUT SOLORZANO, joined the Master's program with a research project entitled: “Integration of landscape, hydrological and water quality metrics as predictors of fish distribution in streams of the Upper Paraná River”.
- In 2017-2018, a PhD student completed a Sandwich Doctorate internship at the Catholic University of Portugal, in Portugal.
- In 2018, Orlando Jose Bastidas Betancourt joined the program from Venezuela through the Alliances for Education and Training Program of the Organization of American States.
- These international partnerships can have their results quantitatively evaluated in the publications of the permanent professors, listed in the PGRN report, and new partnerships are being initiated, based on the professors' research projects.
- On the 22-05-2018 we received Dr Jesus Calvo-Castro-Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department of Pharmacy, Pharmacology to give the lecture "Exploring structure property relationships in diketopyrrolopyrrole based small molecules towards their uses in optoelectronic applications", which was held at UEMS and had the participation of professors and students from PGRN, as well as professors and students from different undergraduate courses at UEMS and UFGD.
